Scouting Aid
Click here (You may have to refresh your browser when you get there) to view an example of a used team scoutlist, which follows Tafoids list sequence.
Google Docs is an online service which allows you to post a spreadsheet and grant access for others to fill in while online. Sectors are spread out amoung the cooperating players. As we scout we follow tafoids sequence. If the system is of interest 60hab+ we note the planet, its habitability, metals, date and owner. If the system is of no interest an x in placed in the planet column. The data is available as soon as its entered to anybody who has the link. The list can be sorted for various evaluations. Its rumored that some have a script which will compile data from your ship library, however the technology is not currently being shared.
Galactic Chart for Planets of Interest
Below is an example of a rough draft excel chart available by clicking Here. It will show you the planets relative locations so you have an idea of where things are. When you locate a planet of interest you can enter the x y coordinates, found in tafoids scout list, into the spreadsheet to plot the planet location. A slight understanding of Excel is required to use the spreadsheet.

This is a copy of the Data entry page used to create the graph. The blue cells automatically update based on the system entered and places a mark on the graph.
